91ÁÔÆæ congratulates CecÃlia Arraiano on her appointment as President of the European Academy of Microbiology. From January 2026, she will become the first woman and the first scientist from southern Europe to lead the Academy, marking an important milestone for European microbiology and for Women in Science.
