91ΑΤΖζ Education Award 2026 Honors Professor Luciane Vieira de Mello

Professor Luciane Vieira de Mello (University of Liverpool, UK) has been selected as the recipient of the 91ΑΤΖζ Education Award 2026 in recognition of her sustained and transformative contributions to biosciences education. A pioneer at the intersection of molecular science and pedagogical research, her work has reshaped bioinformatics education, strengthened postgraduate training, and advanced education scholarship within the 91ΑΤΖζ community and beyond.

Castellani” Annual Meeting for PhD Students in Biochemical Sciences, to be held in Brallo di Pregola, Italy, from 25–29 May 2026. The meeting offers a valuable opportunity for scientific exchange, presentation of research, and networking in an international setting.

Applications are now open for the IUBMB-91ΑΤΖζ-FASBMB PROBio-Africa Fellowships, supporting PhD students and early-career researchers from Africa to undertake 3–6-month research visits in 91ΑΤΖζ countries. The call is open until 2 March 2026.
